Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy explains what information Trivo collects through this website, why we collect it and what we do with it. It also describes how we treat the information our clients entrust to us during a project.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to visitors of this website and to people who contact us through it. "Trivo", "we" and "us" refer to Cavalcante Companies Corp, a Florida corporation doing business as Trivo, located at 6965 Piazza Grande Ave, Suite 203, Orlando, FL 32835, United States.
Work we perform for clients is governed by the written agreement signed with each client. Where that agreement and this policy differ, the agreement prevails.
2. What we collect
We collect only what we need to answer you and to run this website:
- Information you give us. Your name, work email, phone number, company, role and anything you write when you fill in a form, book a call or send us an email.
- Assessment answers. The answers you select in our free assessments are processed in your browser. They reach us only if you ask us to send you the result, in which case we receive your email address and your result.
- Technical information. Basic data that every website receives, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and the time of the visit.
- Cookies. We use the cookies needed for the site to work, such as your language and theme preference, and privacy-friendly analytics to understand which pages are useful.
We do not buy personal data from third parties, and we do not collect sensitive personal information through this website.
3. Why we use it
We use the information described above to:
- reply to your message and schedule the conversation you requested
- prepare for that conversation, so we do not waste your time
- send you the assessment result you asked for
- keep the website secure and working properly
- understand which content is useful, so we can improve it
- meet our legal obligations
We do not use your information for automated decisions that affect you, and we do not sell it.
4. Client data and confidentiality
During a project we may have access to our clients' systems and data. That information belongs to the client. We use it only to deliver the agreed work, under the confidentiality and security terms of the contract.
In practice this means that access is granted to named individuals, limited to what the project requires and removed when the project ends. Production data is not copied to our engineers' machines. Our security practices page describes these measures in full.
5. Protected Health Information (HIPAA)
We do not collect Protected Health Information through this website, and we ask that you do not send it to us through forms or email.
When a project involves Protected Health Information, we act as a Business Associate and sign a Business Associate Agreement before any access takes place. That agreement, together with the HIPAA rules, governs how we handle such information.
6. Who we share information with
We share personal information only in these situations:
- Service providers. Companies that host this website, deliver our email, manage our calendar and provide analytics. They may use the information only to provide those services to us.
- Legal requirements. When the law, a court order or a government request obliges us to.
- Business changes. If Trivo is involved in a merger, an acquisition or a sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of it, under the same protections.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising.
7. How long we keep it
We keep contact and inquiry information for as long as we are in conversation with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you return. After that we delete it or remove the details that identify you. We may keep information longer when the law requires it.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner. See the next section.
8. Your choices
You may ask us at any time to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you
- correct information that is wrong
- delete your information
- stop contacting you
Write to hi@trivoandco.com and we will reply within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will continue to work, though it may not remember your preferences.
9. California residents
If you live in California, state law gives you the right to know what personal information a business collects about you, to request its deletion, to correct it and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
To exercise these rights, write to hi@trivoandco.com. An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf.
10. Children
This website is intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. If a change is significant, we will say so clearly on this page.
